Tired of endless walking

My surging Heart aching for a place to call Home

Beaten and left for the dead in the previous places i thought i had found a place to stay

Turned out they were broken cisterns

Temporary pleasure but permanent damage

Started so Good but ended so bad

Sent away , spit on and told ,You are on your Own

Packed my belonging

Hit the road , with this deep longing

For a place to call Home

In the midst of the walking, got a notification on my phone

From her, talking of how she had not taken the relationship seriously

Progressed with the Journey , till i reached a Junction

Decided to sit down while contemplating of the next action

I didn’t want to make a wrong Turn

Because that would bring a lesson afterwards too heard for me to Learn

I took a shade under the nearby tree , sitting back, reminiscing
Of how i used to talk and get dirty with her

Blinded by her deceptive charms

Her sweet nothings and her ever open wide arms

Lost in thoughts , i got a vibration

It was her call, i received it and with a soft sweet voice and a message so loud enough to rock a nation

Saying, “Hun, what do you think you are doing? You can’t run away just like that”

I hang up, irritated she hit me with a text,
